Frequently asked questions about ordering, shipping and paying for paintings at Ronald Hunter.

Orders and returns

Creating an account is not necessary, you can use a guest account. Please fill in all personal information when you pay for the order, so that we know where to send the package.

We want you to be happy with the artwork, you can request a return within 14 days. You will receive the full purchase amount back; we only keep a small amount for the return shipment (depending on the size of the painting). You will receive a return label from us; for large paintings, we will schedule a collection by TNT at your home. For works of art on paper, we kindly ask you to bring it to a PostNL point. It is important that you package the artwork in the same way as you received it (in original packaging); This is to prevent damage en route as much as possible. So be sure to keep all packaging materials until you are sure you want to keep the painting.

If you would like to return the painting, please get in touch to discuss the appropriate actions.

If you want to change or cancel the order, please contact us as soon as possible. As long as the painting has not yet been shipped, we can cancel the order free of charge.

View the items in our store and click ‘Add to cart’ to order an item. If you want to have the painting framed, you can choose a frame by clicking on ‘Choose a frame’ on the product page.

You will receive a track & trace code from us as soon as the order is ready for shipment. This allows you to track your order. Ronald Hunter ships the orders several times a week.

We ship worldwide. Ronald’s art has now been shipped to 56 countries.

The orders are picked up by the carrier at our studio in Rotterdam. The delivery time of a painting that is in stock is approximately 3 working days.

For a painting that is made to order by Ronald, the delivery time depends on the planning. We will inform you about this by e-mail. After collection by the carrier, it takes a maximum of 3 to 4 working days to deliver the order, depending on the destination:

  • Shipping to a country in Europe is 2 days
  • Shipping to a country outside of Europe is 3 to 4 days

If you want to be sure of a delivery date, please contact us. We can then book a priority shipment for a surcharge.

In any case, you will always receive a tracking code by e-mail, so that you can track the shipment of your purchase.

The shipping costs applicable to your country are calculated automatically at checkout. Note: Any international customs fees are the buyer’s responsibility.

Ronald Hunter only uses certified carriers (PostNL, DHL, DPD, UPS, Fedex, GLS). The choice of carrier depends on the weight and size of your order.

We pack the painting safely in layers of bubble wrap including wooden plate in a sturdy cardboard box.

In the unlikely event that you notice that the package is damaged on delivery, you can refuse the shipment or you can have the carrier mark the package as ‘received damaged’, subject to further inspection. Please submit the claim immediately.

You must keep all boxes and packing materials. Take pictures of the damaged package and send them to Ronald Hunter, with information about the action you have taken.

Payment Information

We use a certified payment service (Mollie – www.mollie.com) for secure payments. We do not store payment details, they are only kept if required by the processing company to demonstrate the customer’s approval of the transaction.

We offer secure payment via PayPal, iDeal, Bancontact, SOFORT. We also accept credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) and direct bank transfers. Please note that with direct bank transfer, we prepare the shipment as soon as payment is received.
