Ronald Hunter and Pop Art Art.
Ronald Hunter is a versatile artist, with an oeuvre that encompasses various – abstract and modern – styles. But despite his versatility, he still manages to maintain a signature style that is easy to recognize.
In addition to abstract art , Ronald has a true love for Pop Art art . We want to know more and ask Ronald where his fascination for Pop Art comes from.

For as long as I can remember I have been attracted to Pop Art. I like that it's such an outspoken art form. Reality is not what it seems and is even placed in a completely different light. Specifically, the way Pop artists manage to take everyday objects out of context, magnify and exaggerate. As a spectator you are often misled
Ronald tells us that Pop Art always evokes a positive reaction in him:
I see it as a wink to the world, and for me it always triggers something friendly. It's refreshing and it probably comes as no surprise that I'm a fan of the vibrant colors that Pop artists use.
Colors that pop!
Although I would never call myself a pop art artist like Warhol or Koons, I am inspired by their creations.
With this in mind, you notice that Ronald makes great use of neon and contrasting colors, as well as large typography and beautiful portraits.
Take a look at his latest work, ‘Neon Pop Colors’ (95×95 cm). A lively piece with colors that ‘pop’ on the canvas. This original painting is available (incl. frame) in our shop.
An important part of his collection are the Pop Art Portraits .
