As a full-time artist, Ronald Hunter spends a lot of time in the art studio in Rotterdam. Here he focuses on creating his arts and developing new techniques. As you probably already know, every painting in his webshop is original and handmade by himself.

In the photo below you can see him applying a final coat to a new painting, titled “Black Line Pictures”. Ronald Hunter uses different techniques that give each painting a unique atmosphere. Here he uses a paintbrush and spatula to ‘splash’ the paint directly onto the canvas.

Black Line Pictures

“Black Line Pictures” (120×120 cm) is an XL painting , available in our webshop. For this painting, Ronald used a combination of off-white (or pale beige) along with dark gray and warm undertones. The light blue splashes add a playful twist.
